The Kaiser Family Foundation released two issue briefs on the Medicare prescription drug benefit program (Part D) last week:

The first focuses on the appeals process and highlights issues that can affect beneficiaries' access to needed medications, while the second examines the authority of the federal government to enforce the laws, rules and regulations governing Medicare drug plans. The papers were prepared by the Center for Medicare Advocacy.
